Custom Home Renovation Solutions follows a structured, six step design-build process that’s centered on clarity, trust, and collaboration. It begins with an initial conversation to ensure a good fit, aligning on goals, expectations, and project vision. If there’s mutual agreement, the relationship moves forward under a pre-construction agreement.

From there, the focus shifts to developing detailed design plans, working with trade professionals and vendors to create accurate specifications and a realistic budget. Lifestyle considerations are factored in to tailor the plan to the homeowner’s needs. Once everything is finalized, construction agreements are signed, and preparations begin to ensure a smooth build. Construction is carefully managed with a strong emphasis on communication, craftsmanship, and efficiency. The process concludes with a thorough quality check and the start of a one-year warranty that covers materials and labor.

ADDITIONS

The guiding principles and process used in new home construction are applied during any of our custom additions. We still have a strong partnership between you and the General Contractor, as well as emphasizing the communication between vendors and trade partners. Our goal with additions is to blend your vision and needs, with functional energy efficiency, while adding value to your investment, by using my experience to work around possible restrictions with the existing home.

With additions, we realize you will be living in the home as the project is underway, and CHRS considers your needs and comfort during the production phase. We work with your specific requests, and maintain a clean and safe job site. Dust doors and dust walls are used to contain the debris within the pre-determined workspace, and no day’s work is concluded until the site has been properly swept and vacuumed. Floor coverings are used to protect your home. We know additions can be intrusive by nature, but our goal is to minimize the disturbance and respect your home and family’s lifestyle.

KITCHENS

Perhaps more than any other space in your house, the kitchen makes the home. This is why we work together during pre-construction to find out exactly what you want, and tailor the details to your family’s lifestyle. By communicating your ideas with our kitchen designers, vendors and trade partners, we are able to work out the proper plan and budget for your kitchen needs.
